Vane Art These vanes are hand crafted from wood and metal. They are dynamic art objects balanced to respond to a slight breeze but heavy and stable enough to withstand a gale. Each vane is unique and they are available in a variety of abstract or bird-like shapes, sizes and colors. Bases and steel poles are sold separately. The bases are designed to provide stable support for a given vane size. They can be natural log stumps, faceted wood blocks or metal plates. The poles are 3/4" diameter and vary in length according to vane shape and intended location.
